The Prince Albert Raiders fell 5-2 to the Regina Pats in a fight-filled affair Saturday night at the Art Hauser Centre.
The Pats jumped out to a 2-0 lead after the first period before Dakota Conroy got the home team on the board.
Regina would score to end the middle stanza, and add a pair of goals before Conroy scored his second of the game in the final minutes of regulation time.
Harrison Ruopp was named the Dickies Hardest Working Raider of the game, physically dominating the opposing forwards all game long.
Ruopp, along with Evan Morden, Mike Winther, Jayden Hart and Chance Braid all dropped the gloves throughout the game, getting a rise from the crowd each time they got the best of their Pat challenger.
The Raiders and Pats will have a rematch Wednesday night at the Art Hauser Centre.
