Prince Albert SK- The Prince Albert Raiders are back in action this week, with 3 games in 4 nights, including a pair of home games against the Regina Pats and the Red Deer Rebels as well as a visit to Swift Current to face the Broncos. The Raiders will be looking to avenge Saturday’s loss to the Pats on Wednesday, and will have some help as Leon Draisaitl, Mark McNeill Reid Gardiner and Tim Vanstone have all returned from their international tournaments. The Raiders will also be busy off the ice, with appearances throughout the community this week.

The CIBC Read to Succeed program returns with a visit to East Central School at 9:30 AM, where Raider players Riley Guenther, Chance Braid, Austin Daae and Mike Winther will read to students, talk about the importance of literacy and sign autographs.
Raiders Luke Siemens, Andy Desautels, Evan Morden and Anthony Bardaro will be at Turgeon School at 9:30 AM to speak to students about the prevention of bullying and living a positive lifestyle.
The Frank Dunn Toyota Future Raiders program is back in 2013 as Raider players Shane Danyluk, Josh Morrissey, Jonas Knutsen and Harrison Ruopp will attend an East End Novice II Rangers practice at 6:00 PM to skate with the players and teach them skills, as well as hand out tickets and mini-sticks courtesy of Frank Dunn Toyota.
Wednesday, January 9th
Raiders vs. Pats – 7:00 PM
It’s OK Tire High School Face-Off night! St. Mary’s and Carlton High Schools will be going head to head all game for the chance to win a donation from OK Tire to their graduation committee.
It is another Vegas Weeknight! One lucky fan over the age of 21 will have the opportunity to win a trip for two to Las Vegas, including 2 nights’ accommodation and two-way airfare from Saskatoon!
The pre-game meal, hosted by Lone Wolf Catering, will consist of Southern Comfort riblets and will begin at 6:00 PM in the Ches Leach Lounge.

Raider players Davis Vandane and Sawyer Lange will be at the Victoria Hospital from 9:30-11:00 AM making a special visit to patients in the paediatric ward and the Herb Basset home.

Raider Day Friday returns! The Prince Albert Chamber of Commerce is urging all businesses in Prince Albert to encourage their staff to wear Raider items on Fridays before Raider weekend home games.
