Number 49 in WHL Draft

Brandon Formosa was in the kitchen getting some water during a break from playing video games with his mom when he heard her holler.
The WHL draft had started just a short while ago and he was already picked by the Prince Albert Raiders in the third round, 49th overall.

The Prince Albert Raiders have hired Steve Young as Assistant General Manager and Assistant Coach.

In the 2007-08 season, the Prince Albert Raiders inducted Dallas Stars Head Coach Dave Tippett onto their Wall of Honour.  Tippett's Dallas Stars won a Quadruple Overtime game to eliminate San Jose and now play Detroit in the NHL Western Conference Final.  Here is a feature story by Rob Vanstone of the Regina Leader Post on the Tippett's.

Last season was a disappointment for Garrett Zemlak - and he's the first to admit it.
